Version 1.1 – October 2026
At Toko Amardjoti, we believe it is important for you to know exactly what to do if you wish to cancel a purchase, return a product, or if something is wrong with your order.
This Return & Refund Policy applies to orders placed via online.amardjoti.com. This policy complements Toko Amardjoti’s General Terms and Conditions. Statutory consumer rights are not limited by this policy.
You can contact us via email, phone, or the contact form on our webshop.
When you purchase online from Toko Amardjoti as a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without providing any reason, unless a statutory exception applies to the product in question.
For the purchase of goods, the cooling-off period begins on the day after you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, have received the product.
If an order consists of multiple products delivered separately, the period begins on the day after you receive the last product. For products delivered in multiple shipments or parts, the period begins on the day after you receive the last shipment or part.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must unequivocally inform us within the applicable cooling-off period that you wish to withdraw from the contract. Timely dispatch of your declaration is sufficient.
You can notify us of your withdrawal via the available withdrawal option at online.amardjoti.com, by email via webshopamardjoti@gmail.com, via the contact form on our webshop, or using the model withdrawal form included with our General Terms and Conditions.
Any other legally permitted unequivocal statement is also sufficient. The use of the model form is not mandatory.
Please include your name, order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and your contact details.
In the case of a statutory withdrawal, you do not need to provide a reason for your decision.
When using an online withdrawal feature on our webshop, you will receive an electronic acknowledgment of receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium as legally required.
After you have validly withdrawn from the contract, you must return the product or hand it over to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notification of withdrawal. You are in time if you return the product before this period expires.
You can return your items to us in two ways.
You can drop off your return in person at:
We do not charge any return shipping costs for returning items in person.
You can also ship your return yourself to:
In the case of a standard withdrawal, the direct costs of returning the product are for your own account, provided you have been informed about this in advance in accordance with the law.
You are responsible for returning the product correctly. We advise you to keep the shipping receipt until the return has been fully processed.
Not every product is covered by the statutory right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal does not exist or may lapse when a statutory exception applies.
For the Online Amardjoti assortment, the following exceptions may be relevant.
The statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded for goods that spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life.
For sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, the right of withdrawal may lapse if the seal is broken after delivery, provided the legal requirements for this exception are met.
For goods manufactured according to consumer specifications or clearly intended for a specific person, the right of withdrawal may be excluded when the legal conditions for this are met.
If another legal exception to the right of withdrawal applies, the product in question may also be excluded from the right of withdrawal.
The mere fact that a product is food does not automatically mean that it is excluded from the right of withdrawal.
If there is no right of withdrawal for a specific product, we will inform you of this before the contract is concluded, as legally required.
These exceptions do not limit your statutory rights if a product is, for example, incorrectly delivered, damaged, unsafe, or otherwise not in conformity with the contract.
During the cooling-off period, you must handle the product and its packaging with care.
You may only handle and inspect the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as you would reasonably be allowed to do in a physical store.
If you go further than necessary and this results in a depreciation of the product, we may hold you liable for this depreciation, to the extent permitted by law and provided you have been correctly informed about your right of withdrawal in advance.
This article does not create a right of withdrawal for products that are legally excluded from the right of withdrawal.
After a valid withdrawal, we will refund the amounts you are legally entitled to.
In the event of a full withdrawal, we will also refund the costs of the cheapest standard delivery method we offered for the original order.
If you voluntarily chose a more expensive delivery method than our cheapest standard delivery, we are not required to refund the additional costs.
The refund will take place without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receipt of your notice of withdrawal, subject to our legal right to suspend the refund.
Unless we have offered to collect the products ourselves, we may withhold the refund until we have received the products or until you have provided proof that you have sent the products back, whichever occurs first.
We will use the same payment method for the refund as you used for the original transaction, unless you explicitly agree to a different refund method. No fees will be charged for the refund.
You do not necessarily have to return your entire order.
If you validly withdraw from only a part of your order, we will refund the purchase price of the returned products in question.
Original shipping costs will only be refunded for a partial withdrawal to the extent legally required.
Have you received a different product than what you ordered? Please contact us as soon as possible via webshopamardjoti@gmail.com, by phone at 06 24571976, or via the contact form on our webshop.
Please include your order number and, if reasonably possible, attach a clear photo of the received product.
When Toko Amardjoti is responsible for the incorrect delivery, we will not treat this as a standard return due to the cooling-off period. Costs that should be borne by us under the law will not be passed on to you.
Check your order upon receipt.
Has a product arrived damaged? Please contact us as soon as possible.
Please include your order number and, if reasonably possible, include photos of the damaged product and the packaging along with a brief description of the damage.
If possible, do not discard the product and packaging while we review your report.
A request for photos or a prompt notification does not limit your statutory rights.
Is a product missing from your order? Please contact us with your order number and state which product is missing.
If it turns out that the product was incorrectly not included, we will offer a suitable solution in accordance with your statutory rights, such as sending the missing item or a refund.
Do you suspect that a food product is spoiled, damaged, unsafe, or otherwise not in order upon receipt? Do not use or consume the product.
Contact us as soon as possible, mentioning your order number, the product in question, and what you believe is wrong with it.
If relevant, also mention the expiration date and/or batch or lot information and, if reasonably possible, include photos of the product and the packaging.
We treat reports that may relate to food safety with appropriate priority.
In the case of food allergies and intolerances, always carefully check the information on the actual packaging received before consuming the product.
Manufacturers may change recipes, ingredients, allergen information, or packaging.
If the information on the received product differs significantly from the information that was available online at the time of purchase and this could be relevant to your health, do not consume the product and contact us.
This provision does not limit our legal responsibilities regarding mandatory food information.
As a consumer, you are entitled to a product that meets the contract and applicable legal requirements.
A return due to a defect, incorrect delivery, damage, non-conformity, or another defect for which Toko Amardjoti is legally responsible is legally distinct from a return because you changed your mind during the cooling-off period.
Costs that, under the law, should be borne by Toko Amardjoti in the case of a justified complaint will therefore not be passed on to you as standard return costs.
Your statutory rights remain fully applicable.
Do you want to exchange a product for another?
Insofar as there is no statutory right to a replacement, depending on the product and the circumstances, we may suggest that you return the original product according to the applicable return rules and then place a new order.
A different expected delivery time may apply to pre-orders and backorders.
If a pre-order or backorder has not yet been delivered and you wish to cancel it, we will assess this in accordance with the applicable agreement and statutory rights.
For consumers, the applicable mandatory legal rights, including rights regarding late delivery and the right of withdrawal where applicable, remain preserved.
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, it can also be exercised before receipt.
The 14-day statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to customers who enter into the agreement in the course of their profession or business.
Returning a business order is therefore only possible if Toko Amardjoti agrees in advance, unless the business customer has another right under applicable mandatory law.
In the case of an incorrectly, damaged, or otherwise non-conformly delivered product, the applicable legal and contractual rights remain in effect.
We may further investigate a return if specific circumstances give rise to a reasonable suspicion of fraud or abuse.
The existence of an investigation does not automatically mean that a return will be refused.
A consumer's legal claim will not be refused solely because it is unfavorable to Toko Amardjoti.
This return policy applies to orders delivered via Online Amardjoti in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions, Dutch law applies to agreements with Toko Amardjoti.
This choice of law does not deprive a consumer in Belgium of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer law provisions from which the consumer cannot be derogated by agreement under the law that would have been applicable in the absence of a choice of law.
